3 good property resolutions for Year 2014!

gogreenIn the month of January many people look back on the past year and decide that the coming year shall be different and they set up a few goals to enrich their lives.
Some would like to lose a few pounds on their waistline while others want to stop smoking.
But it is rare that people find it worthwhile to change their view of their real estate investments. And this is indeed a shame!
Here follows 3 tips for how you can make your investments better in 2014.

Search for best investment outside your comfort zone!

Everyone loves to own property in popular areas such as Pattaya and Phuket , but just because you are most familiar with these areas , it does not mean that these are also the best deals!
Prices are high and new properties in the best areas are not always easy to find.
For medium sized investments with great return potential you should consider cities and areas on the rise , and attracting new companies , new tourists and above all young professionals who are looking for work … such as Krabi , Ao Nang, Koh Lanta and Khanom just to name a few.

Look beyond the developer!

When searching and considering in which properties to invest your hard earned money , then you should look beyond the developer’s reputation for quality and punctuality, and also take the administrator/operator in consideration before you act.
For the administrator/operator who runs the property may be of different caliber and a property that is poorly managed and run can bring your investment at risk, as the property can be difficult to rent out or sell again.

Invest in Green in 2014!

In Thailand, the subsidies for electricity and water prices are on the way out so that new builders actually build electricity and water saving properties for the same price as conventional properties. So why not choose to save energy and invest in green? When the price is still the same , there ‘s no reason to support the environmental mess!
