The Chinese Purchasing Intent Index website Juwai.com for Thailand has revealed how Thailand has outperformed larger countries like the United States of America, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.
The Juwai.com website is the most popular Chinese international property portal, with 2,600,000 monthly visits from consumers and 2,500,000 property listings from more than 80 countries.
The Juwai.com website sees a rapidly increasing interest in Thailand property and real estate from China, with many more new buyers with more money than previous years – and they purchase more expensive properties.
The most popular destinations in Thailand for Chinese property investors are Pattaya, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Bangkok in no particular order.
The challenge is now for Thai developers and property brokers to be able understanding the way that Chinese buyers purchase real estate, and of course to be able communicating successfully with them in their own language.
